Shima Gohan Koza Music Town in Okinawa City

A nice culture background of the town's history

Pretty place. We didn't do much there though. Not much to it.

It's a place that doesn't go much, but it has changed a lot. The number of delicious shops can increase.

A former rural area where the American culture remains the most intensely, after and after Okinawa, for better or worse. Even though there was nothing before the war, there seemed to be towns and roads around here for the convenience of the US military. If it is no mark, even a rental car is just a passing point. I listened to the difference between the Koza Riot and the Koza Riot for an hour at a facility called Histreet near the entrance of Kadena Air Base on this airport street.The picture was specially given to Mr. Shinichi Miyajima who was doing MC on a program introducing the good shops of the former Koza city by chance (actually as it was?) It is a program sticker. Please see once if you want to know Koza.

This is an underutilised but great facility for the locals, set against the background of Okinawa City. Tonight it was great to see it being used andSo many happy people. Great performance from the Eisa drummers.

Music town is dead

Events

A symbolic building of Okinawa City as an Acer and base town. Events such as concerts are held all year round in the hall. There are many tenants of various types of restaurants. Even though the nearest city in the neighborhood was abandoned compared to the past, various restaurants are opening up and reviving. Acer, I hope to develop as a food town in addition to music.

Amazing venue.

I wandered here because I saw a poster for something called Nihon Techno. Turns out it has nothing to do with techno as a music genre but seems to be some sort of office for an electronics manufacturer. It does seem like there is a music production studio on the top floor and a small Okinawa music style museum in the complex but a bit of a mystery why it was called Music Town. The area overall was pretty dilapidated and many indications that the town had seen better days.

Local community music center. Come here around June to catch the Eisa Drum shows!

So many things happen here it's a great place to go

There are many events in Goza Music Town, Okinawa City, where you can come into contact with multinational music culture. You can also feel the townscape and the historical culture of Goza!

Great place to mingle with locals and immerse yourself in the culture through music and other social activities.

It Sucks nothing great

It's a nice little place. Has a few shops inside and some food.

Okinawa International Carnival, lively and extraordinary, program control and traffic control are well controlled, because it is an international event, I hope that English interpretation is better at each stage!

This place is over rated and expensive. Many of the shops have closed and reopened and something else. It is a nice building and when they do have lives and the middle Courtyard that's not bad.

I always have a great time when I go. From dance recitals to live music and live dancing...if you see something while driving by...stop and watch...

Good Thai, Indian and Persian Food Shops

They have good food

Great place to sit down and relax while watching ameture musicians but they hardly have any cultural type activities due to its proximity to Karen's Air Force Base.

There are so many places to explore in this area. The chicknwaffles place near by is amazing by far

I wouldn't go to Chicken and Waffles, had a two hour wait and we were the only people there...

Good place to hear free live music from time to time

It seems nice, i end up there because i was looking for a money exchange. I kind ask around and they were nice to point the way.

The pearl curry here is very delicious.

Seemed very popular. Always busy.

The best part of Koza are the free concerts, people watching, cat watching and especially JET. The house band at JET plays great hard rock from the 60s, and 70s and they play it loud. Go to JET, enjoy the old tunes but you may want to bring ear plugs.

What a cool little plaza. There is a small arcade and a couple of little restraunts, in this complex made to play music. I can't wait until they have a live band in here.

Like Korinza, this is a place that was a negative legacy of Okinawa City. I think it ’s been working hard. Reconstruction with the power of the city! A place where you can feel the power of the city when there is an event. Once a year, we also have events for Mr. Yoshida
